Georgian American University was initially designed as a School of Law as an MBA project of Elene Jamarjashvili in 2001 later on in 2017 the Medical Doctor (MD) Program was added to the curriculum. The MD program at GAU aims to integrate not only clinical and biomedical education but also independent research and issues of medical ethics throughout the 6 years course.
The college uniquely integrates Western education and teaching techniques to give the students a truly well rounded education.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES TOWARDS GIMSOC
The goal of GAU local chapter towards GIMSOC is –
- To plan and execute as many events and talks at GAU as possible with maximum student engagement.
- To recruit more members from the college to the GIMSOC organization.
- To contribute meaningfully to the organization and volunteer in the events organized by GIMSOC.
- To follow all the rules and regulations and abide by the by- laws established by the Student Council.
