Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) is a spiritual and intellectual heir to the long-standing humanistic traditions, educational institutions, and cultural hubs of Georgia that date back many centuries. Establishing national and universal values; fostering the intellectual, moral, cultural, and socioeconomic development of society; producing, preserving, and disseminating new knowledge; advancing university traditions through research and innovations; ensuring student-centered learning and developing a competitive workforce; encouraging continuing education; and being a respectable member of the free world are all goals of higher education.
The values of Tbilisi State University are based on critical, creative, and progressive thinking, the principles of academic freedom and academic ethics, and open, dynamic, and transparent relations. These ideas are shared by the university and are encouraged by the Magna Charter of the European Universities.
GOALS- The goal of the local GIMSOC TSU chapter is to organise high-caliber workshops, peer-assisted learning opportunities, and other activities that will improve the clinical and practical expertise of Georgian and International medical students.
And we believe that we can accomplish that by effectively networking and collaborating with other regional chapters and executive directors to create a cumulative effect that starts with the earnest effort and conviction of each member of our local chapter
